Drinking is the needs of every creature either animals, plants and humans in particular. Many drinks choices are now widely available. But, we are wise if to choose healthy drinks we consume. Here are some kinds of drinks can we meet everyday.



  • Water or mineral water is an ideal choice to eliminate the sense of thirst, because it is not so fattening, in addition, water also contains fluoride which can help prevent tooth damage and fragile bones.
  • Tea and Coffee. Both these drinks don't contain the nutrients needed by the body so it does not fatten. But both contain caffeine, which can stimulate the nervous system and can cause difficult to sleep in some people. And if the concentration of caffeine to enter the body beyond normal limits or safe limit of about 250-550 mg per day, it can heighten the risk of miscarriage, or premature babies. Even so tea and coffee has its own advantages. For example, the consumption of tea can reduce body weight and reduce cholesterol.
  • Cow's milk provides adequate nutrition, ranging from riboflavin, one of a series of calcium and B complex to profetin. Elements in milk are insufficient in iron, vitamin C and vitamin B1. Skim milk or buttermilk either consumed for those who want to reduce fat content in milk.   • Fruit juice contains vitamin C or other vitamins. Besides, most fruits also contain carotene which was then converted into vitamin A in the body, vitamin B and minerals.   • Soft drinks made by adding lots of sugar, carbon dioxide, dyes and essences in the water. Each canned soft drinks provide about 11 to 12 sugar box. While the cola drinks are also classified as soft drinks, caffeine and phosphorus are additional. Artificial sweeteners contained in it are still within safe limits the amount, but did not benefit the body. Drinks of this type are not the best choice because there is no advantage to be obtained from these beverages.
  • Energy drink is the type of drink which is intended to increase the energy of a person who drank it. For some classes, the energy drinks to be drunk in order to prevent drowsiness. Energy drinks contain a variety of substances, which when mixed can be dangerous for health. Too much caffeine, which is the main content in energy drinks,can cause dehydration.
  • Alcoholic drinks are drinks are highly recommended not to consume. Especially for women, this can lead to miscarriage, fertility disorders in and preterm delivery. Moreover, it can make addiction continually, and in the long term will damage our body system. The function of the brain and nervous system will be damaged permanently. Liver is an organ that functions to solve and remove alcohol from the blood will become inflamed (hepatitis), cirrhosis and liver cancer. Various diseases in inflicted if we drink alcohol excessively and continuously can lead to heart disease, high blood pressure, stomach irritation, heart failure and stroke. Alcohol also contains a diuretic effect (increase the amount of urine), so that if excessive will lead to kidney damage. Alcohol can increase sexual arousal; however, even if excessive can cause impotence. Alcohol causes a reddish color on the face (flushing), which will settle on heavy addicts.
