Tips to Prevent the Occurrence of Tonsillectomy

Tonsillectomy or tonsil is a lymph gland, which is located in the throat, its function to destroy micro-organisms into the nose and throat.

Symptoms of tonsillitis usually are no appetite, fever, difficult to swallow, out mucus, headache and vomiting.

Tonsillectomy is the first door body defense to prevent disease. So tonsillectomy is needed by the body. It so should not the tonsil is removed because if removed then the body will be more easily falling ill for a variety of diseases and reduce the balance of the body on a child. However, tonsil will become a new problem if get excited. So should the hot tonsillectomy, we to heal without having to remove them through surgery.

  • Frequent hand washing is the best way to prevent the occurrence of different types of infections, including tonsillitis. Wash your hands often, and give encouragement to children to do the same.
  • Perform light maintenance, such as provide food and drink enough. Get them take a bath with warm water.
  • Warm compress if the temperature reaches 38 degrees or put warm compress on the neck every day. The body requires a high temperature to fight bacteria and viruses.
  • Learn the causes of tonsil disease. Generally, children will react to a case, for example, tonsil inflammation when they consuming ice.
  • Try to drink lots of fluids like water or juice, especially during fever.
  • Do not drink ice, syrup, ice cream, food and drinks refrigerated, fried foods and sweetmeat.
  • Gargle warm salt water 3-4 times a day.
  • Given antibiotic therapy (up to doctor instructions) when there is a bacterial infection and to prevent complications.
  • Rest enough.

Know the symptoms of tonsillitis earlier will ease ourselves and families to improve the quality of health and quality of life better.
