TIPS AND TRICKS

Children under the age of 12 years, vulnerable teeth and mouth disease, so maintaining healthy teeth and mouth should be a priority. That's why it's important for us as parents to pass on healthy habits of dental care. The following tips and tricks may help you as parents to teach children dental care:

Reduce sweet foods and sweet drinks
Sweet foods like candy, chocolate, biscuits are so fond of children. But don't overdo the giving food. Because, sticky sweet foods easy on the teeth and gums, which can react in the mouth and eventually form acids that can damage teeth and can cause cavities, tooth loss before their time, and disruption on the size, shape and number of teeth.

Give healthy snacks
Give your child healthy snacks that contain fiber such as vegetables and fruits, which are self-cleansing (cleaning teeth) because they require mastication process repeatedly.

Brush teeth regularly
Caring for baby teeth can be done by cleaning the teeth with gauze or cotton is rinsed with warm water and gently rubbed on baby's gums. When children are allowed to get larger, parents should teach children about tooth brushing routines. Brush teeth twice daily, morning after breakfast and sleep by night.

Encourage your child's regular dental check
Invite a child's dental routine, at least two times a year. With regular inspections, dental problems can be handled from an early age so that children can have healthy teeth for life.
