Tips to Overcoming Eye Inflammation

Inflammation of the eye is a disorder experienced by outer lining of the cornea. Eye will look red and watery. Sore eyes can be caused by infection with bacteria and viruses. Also can be caused by foreign body contamination. Such as: smoke, dust, soap, powder makeup, as well as other chemical substances.

Or eye inflammation caused by too long to see the television screens and computer monitors, so that your eyes tired and itchy, then normally you will be rubbed your eyes. Which will create the symptoms of eyes inflammation: eyes feel itchy, red and sore, eyes will be sensitive to light, swollen and feels gritty, watery, and vision becomes blurred.

Therefore to treat symptoms of eye inflammation, you can do the following:
  • Compress your eyes as much as 3-4 times a day for 10-15 minutes using cold water or ice water.
  • Never hold your eyes are sore, or even rub the eyes
  • Consider hand hygiene; always wash your hands, to avoid dirty and germs that can cause more severe inflammation of your eyes
  • Use sunglasses to protect your eyes from the blinding light. It also can avoid the transmission of your eye inflammation to others. And able to prevent the eye from flying dust or dirt.
  • If within one day there was no change after being compressed with cold water or ice water, then you can use eye drops, and if not cured should also consult with a physician. Because inflammation of the eyes which might you suffered, can be caused by viruses or bacteria, which must be with the medical handling.
