Control of blood sugar levels
The research in the journal Diabetes Care showed that women who have blood sugar levels are high, even though they do not suffer from diabetes, but they have a tendency to get breast cancer. In addition to breast cancer, other cancers experienced by many women with high blood sugar levels is cervical cancer.
Even so, the results of this study do not claim that the levels of high blood sugar can cause cancer or keep blood sugar levels to normal limits may prevent certain cancers. Keep in mind that the level of cancer risk is influenced by many factors, particularly genetic factors and lifestyle. But, keep your blood sugar at normal levels remains important. Do not forget that the levels of high blood sugar closely related to diabetes.

Limit your intake of fat
The researchers from the United States doing research on women who have successfully recovered from the disease early-stage breast cancer. The women are divided into 2 groups, 40% of those asked to follow a low-fat diet while the rest follows the diet regularly.
The women who follow the low-fat diet reduced the consumption of fat to reach 20% of total calories consumed (approximately 33 grams of fat per day). This amount is 8% lower when compared with the total fat consumed in a normal diet, the women usually consume fat as much as 30% of total calories consumed (about 56-57 grams of fat per day).
The results of this study, as listed in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, said that reducing fat consumption to reach 20% of total calories consumed per day may reduce the risk of breast cancer growth back up to 25%. The level of risk in women who do low-fat diet is for 9.8%, while the level of risk in women who followed their normal diet is of 12.4%. It supports several other studies have found an association between consumption of fat in the high number and high rates of breast cancer risk. The women who follow the low-fat diet were also reported losing weight an average of 5.9 pounds.
However, experts warned that the reduced risk of breast cancer re-growth is likely to be associated with weight loss that results from low-fat diet, and not only influenced by the consumption of fat. This can be seen from the findings, as listed in the Breast Cancer Research, which states that the weight loss in young women can reduce breast cancer risk by 50%, whereas the weight gain can increase breast cancer risk by 65%.
Bask under the sun
The increasing incidence of skin cancer (malignant melanoma) make us afraid of the sun. But a little sunlight can help prevent breast cancer, because at the time the sun on the skin, the body makes vitamin D. Vitamin D helps absorb calcium breast tissue, thereby reducing the risk of breast cancer. In order to get the sun for 20 minutes / day, it is recommended to walk under the sun in the afternoon or evening.
