Diarrhea is a condition in which a person defecates several times in one day, which exceed normal limits.

Called diarrhea when dirt or feces that came out very soft or even dilute with more frequency than normal. Actually, diarrhea is one of the mechanisms of the body to remove toxins contained in the large intestine. These toxins can be derived from food or results from the metabolism of germs.

The symptoms of diarrhea are usually accompanied by additional symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, discomfort in the stomach, heartburn, thirst, fever and weakness due to dehydration. In children and elderly people above 65 years of diarrhea is very dangerous. When handling late and they fall into the severe dehydration can be fatal.

When we eat foods that are not hygienic then we can get digestive diseases, which is one result is diarrhea. E. coli is a normal bacteria that live in our large intestine, unfortunately, if there's too much then he will be dangerous and disturbing the process of water absorption, causing diarrhea. Excessive E. coli is usually derived from fruit or vegetables contaminated with human feces, and then we eat without washing them well.

Besides diarrhea can be caused by the toxicity of chemicals in food, or food allergies can also cause diarrhea. Food allergies are the most frequent cause of diarrhea is allergic to milk protein called lactose. The body's ability to digest lactose decreased with age so that the possibility of diarrhea due to lactose will be even greater. Lactose is a small sample of a substance that can cause diarrhea. Many are allergic to other substances such as gluten etc. causing diarrhea.

Diarrhea can also be caused by take a cold, dehydration (lack of body fluids) and so forth.

Here's how to cope with and treat diarrhea :
