Tips to Stop Snore

Snoring is a major issue with some people. Snoring is caused by the tonsils rubbing against each other while sleeping, which emits a rather undesirable noise.

If you want to cure or control snoring, you should be :

Snore usually happens because the body fat, or obesity. So, you need to reduce weight by exercising regularly.

Sleeping position, keep your head some inches above the bed while sleeping or while sleeping use high pillows so that your head remains four inches above your bed. The position can help you breathe easier and can be overcome snoring.

Postural Change, sleeping on one's back is the most common cause leading to snoring. Side sleeping helps in curing this problem.

Lose extra flab, quit smoking and avoid drinking alcohol before going to bed, and avoid liquor and fat rich foods before going to bed. Especially milk should not be taken before going to bed because it produces mucous, and can cause a stoppage in breathing causing snoring occur.


If the above tips cannot stop the snoring, so these latest tips you must do :
  • Medical treatments, it's best to consult a good otolaryngologist or an ENT specialist if you are experiencing chronic snoring commonly known as sleep apnea.
  • Surgical Methods, you need to consult a specialist and adopt medical or surgical approaches. Surgeries like TAP (Thermal Ablation Palatoplasty), adenoidectomy, UPPP (Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty) and tonsillectomy help in broadening the air passages thus surgically correcting or removing the soft tissue deformities.
