Skateboarding is more than just the outfits; it's more than just using your board to get around the town, there are so many skateboarding tricks, and some are easier to master, some are harder.
First, you need to purchase the right gear. If you are a beginner, you will probably fall a lot, especially once you begin to do your first skateboarding tricks. Once you find your skateboard, your shoes, and some safety equipment, its time to start learning how to balance and move on the board.
To learn skateboarding tricks, you first need to find the proper equipment. You'll need skateboarding shoes, a board, and safety gear. Next, you'll want to learn the basics. Once you master the basics, you can start to learn more complicated skateboarding tricks.
The first tricks you may want to learn are A Kickturn. Kickturning involves balancing on your back wheels, and then swinging the front of your board to a completely different direction. This will seem real hard the first few times you attempt it, but let me tell ya practice makes perfect, and the kickturn is a pretty cool manoeuvre once you have mastered it. A kickturn is a cool trick and it is really much easier than it looks when someone performs it. The goal is to balance on the back wheels of the skateboard. At the same time you are going to swing the front of the skateboard so it will point in a new direction. The more you practice this trick the faster you will become at the movement. The best way to learn is to practice from a still position. Then you will want to learn how to kickturn as you are moving as well.
The Ollie. One of the first you need to master, but it ain't that easy to begin with. You should try this with a moving skateboard as it is much easier. An ollie is basically standing on the deck (the top) of your skateboard, jumping and causing it to pop up in the air and flip, then land and you land on top of it.Now you are ready to ollie, so bend your knees, and the more you bend the better height you will get. Then slam your back foot right down on the tail of the board and with your bended knees jump up by pushing off from your back foot, so as the boards tail goes down to the ground you are pushing up fast. You have to get as much height as you can with your back foot. Then as you come down to hit the ground, bend your knees and roll the board along
Your front foot needs to be placed in the middle of the board along the center of the deck. The purpose of this foot is to make the skateboard rise in the air when you jump. So with your front foot bringing your board into the air while you're in the air, and your back foot causing your board to flip forward, you can see that your stance is what's going to make this work.
Before you jump, you need to squat down on your board as tight and as compressed as possible, and then jump as high as you can. If you have your feet positioned correctly on your skateboard, it will pop up in the air and flip forward, all while you are also in the air.Don't force yourself to complete any tricks you aren't ready to perform either You can watch other people performing basic skateboarding tricks. Then you can try to copy them on your own. If you are struggling see if you can get someone to help you. They can show you what you are doing wrong and then can even video tape your movements for you to see for yourself. You can also watch videos on the computer that will show you each action in slow motion. Take some initiative to try these different tricks and you will find you love spending time on your skateboard even more than you do right now.
