Many people, including myself from time to time, have the golden predilection to complain about the lack of time, as if more of the stuff could be bought. It cannot, it can only be made.
Utilising the time we have is also the key to growth and advancement in life.
We must have A time management plan, that is
1. Make a daily to-do list that details all of the tasks you must complete each day in order to achieve your goals. Allot a certain amount of time to each of your tasks in order to ensure that you complete them in a timely manner.
2. Follow your schedule to the T. Don't let anything come in the way of completing your tasks. It is essential to follow your schedule closely in order to achieve a maximum level of productivity.
3. In order to work efficiently, get rid of distractions in your work environment. Turn off the TV and turn off your phone so you can focus on the tasks at hand.
4. Set up your daily schedules ahead of time so that by the time you go to bed each night, your schedule for the next day is ready to go. Write down your tasks in order from most important to least important. Save the easiest tasks for last and focus on the tasks that are your top priorities first.
5. Consider finding a mentor to whom you can report your progress regularly. Having a mentor will help you gauge how well you are doing. Make sure your mentor is someone you respect and do not want to let down.
Follow these tips and you will be well on your way to implementing a highly effective time management plan. If you manage your time wisely, you will be able to achieve a maximum level of productivity and efficiency in your work.
We must finally start planning our lives, being deliberate and intentional about achieving our purpose. This can only become plainly visible to us in reflection and prayer. This activity gives us tools in assisting the first two. Discerning a plan for the week or month ahead takes time in itself, but it's time well invested.
