Managing emotions is the key to happiness, achieving milestones and peace of mind. We often talk about the circle of influence and the circle of concern? Is it not the same how we take control of our selves visa vi taking control of others. Let us give ourselves the opportunity and comfort of taking charge of ourselves. I am sure we will feel better and will be at peace of mind. Emotional Intelligence is something which influences both our professional and personnel life; let's make both a better place to be.
Emotions play a vital role in our lives. However, when an imbalance of emotions occurs, the flood can be so strong that you may lose control, despite your better judgment.
Here are the things that cause the emotions that are not stable
When you are feeling overwhelmed, take small actions to signal your brain that you are in control, consequently diminishing the emotional nature of the situation.
When you are tired/exhausted, The exhaustion and tiredness is generally caused by concentrating your efforts too much in one place. When your physical energy is out of balance, it also negatively affects your mental and emotional balance. Instead, it is good to balance the exhaustion with some genuine self care.
When you are frustrated: Frustration generally comes from unmet expectations. You can balance this situation by consciously looking at what you are saying "yes" to, and see if it's what you really want in your life. Taking a hard look at your strategy is the key to dealing with this problem.
When you are resentful: The thing to understand about resentment is that it is a secondary emotion, following hurt and anger. You can balance the building of resentment by speaking up. Balance this emotion by not holding on to the anger or hurt, but instead voicing your concerns as early as possible.
Being emotionally well does not mean we will never experience disappointments, sadness or anxiety. These are normal to the human experience. We are able to bounce back when we experience adversity in our lives. We can handle the challenges of life and live productive and fulfilling lives.
