When your child has diarrhea, you as parents don't need to panic. First see child's condition, whether there are symptoms of dehydration. Complications of diarrhea are dehydration that is lack of fluids. Dehydration is dangerous. If there are signs of dehydration, should be immediately taken to the doctor. If not there, then children can be treated at home.

Diarrhea is the body's mechanisms remove toxins, bacteria, viruses. Children should not be stopped the diarrhea, because it inhibits the movement of the intestine. As if the diarrhea stops but inside is still ongoing. Intestinal side effects blisters.

  • Important action is given more fluids than usual. Give your child a special fluid that contains electrolytes to prevent dehydration. Children with diarrhea should not just be given water only, should be given fluids that contain electrolytes (sodium, potassium) and calories.
  • In addition, the food remains should be given should not be restricted but should avoid vegetables for fiber difficult to digest so they can increase the frequency of diarrhea. Fruits are also avoided except bananas and apples because they contain kaolin, pectin, potassium which serves tamp feces and absorb toxins.
  • You can make the liquid electrolyte itself, with 1-2 tablespoons sugar dissolves and the tip of a teaspoon of salt into a glass of warm water.
  • For the calories can be given starch water, 1 tablespoon rice flour dissolved in 100 cc boiling water until cooked.
If after doing home child care remains a bowel movement without stopping should immediately take the child to the doctor for more intensive care. Hopefully, the tips and tricks are useful for the first handler child diarrhea.
