TIPS AND TRICKS


There are several ways to determine the authenticity of honey scientifically. For example, with carbon analysis, microscopic analysis, analysis of hydroxymethylfurfural, analysis of the polarity of light and pH meters. And to know it should use tools that are quite expensive and need specific expertise. So, not everyone can do it. Therefore you can perform a simple test, to detect the authenticity of honey. Here are tips and tricks:
=>> Mix honey with egg yolk. Stir with a flat if the yolk seemed to crystallize, and looks cooked, it can confirm that the original honey.

=>> To determine the original honey, when the honey whipped inside the bottle, it will produce to foam or froth. And if it is mixed with air inside the bottle, it will lead to a kind of gas that will push the bottle cap.

=>> Original Honey has a low water content. So we can do a simple test, namely drop a few drops of honey to the top of the newspaper, if honey is not absorbed in newspaper, then the honey is original.

=>> Original Honey has a sour taste and slightly bitter. This is based on the spring tide, because the bees sucking nectar, would produce honey according to the types of flowers and springtime.

=>> Because it has a sour taste and slightly bitter, then the ants will not be swarming, like when ants swarming around sugar. Although honey actually having a strong sweet taste.

=>> Pour a few drops of honey into a glass of water. See the results if the original honey will immediately fall to the bottom of the glass, while the fake honey tend to be spread.
Simple tips and tricks above can be considered to detect the authenticity of honey, but to make sure we recommend you go to the lab for more clear about its authenticity.
