TIPS AND TRICKS
Pain, joint stiffness, burning sensation, redness and swelling at the base of the toes, heel, knees, ankles, hands and elbows are the traits affected by gout. Gout is a disease caused by buildup of uric acid crystals in connective tissue, namely the space between two bones or in the bone itself. To overcome that we avoid gout is follow the following tips and tricks:
  • Drink plenty of fluids especially water, because the fluid can help remove excess uric acid from the body inside.
  • Avoid foods that contain lots of purines, such as beer, alcoholic beverages, anchovies, sardines, eggs, fish, yeast, liver, kidney, legumes (peas, gnetum gnemon), meat extracts, broth, mushrooms, asparagus, spinach and flowers cabbage. Purine including non-essential components for the body, meaning that purines can be produced by the body itself.   • Consumption of adequate Vitamin C, known to prevent and cure the pain in the joints by strengthening connective tissue. The content of citric acid in lime can dissolve uric acid. Try to take the juice of half a lime, mix with a glass of water and drink twice daily.
